About the Role:
Looking for a role where you can take ownership and make a real impact?
MEC NT is seeking a motivated and organised Warehouse & Stores Coordinator to manage our warehouse, yard, inventory and logistics operations from our Berrimah headquarters.
In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting our electrical and civil project teams by ensuring materials, tools and equipment are available when and where they're needed. You'll be responsible for maintaining an organised warehouse and yard, coordinating deliveries and freight, managing stock levels, and supporting project mobilisation across the Northern Territory.
What you'll be doing:
Receiving and processing incoming deliveries
Managing stock levels, consumables, PPE and project materials
Conducting stocktakes and inventory audits
Preparing materials, tools and equipment for project mobilisation
Coordinating incoming and outgoing freight
Loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries
Managing the issue and return of plant, tools and equipment
Maintaining an organised, safe and efficient warehouse and yard
Liaising with suppliers, freight providers and project teams
Supporting operational requirements across electrical and civil projects

What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in warehousing, stores, logistics or yard operations
Forklift License
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Good computer skills and record keeping ability
Strong commitment to workplace safety
A strong work ethic and effective communication skills
Favourable Attributes:
HR drivers license
Experience in construction, electrical, civil or industrial environments
Experience with inventory or asset management systems
Experience operating plant or machinery
