About the Role:

MEC NT are seeking suitably qualified Vac Truck and machine operators with experience with civils. To safely and effectively support electrical and construction operations by operating plant, vehicles, and equipment, completing labouring and maintenance tasks.

In this role you will work on large scale construction and infrastructure projects, developing your skills across commercial, industrial, defence, power and remote-area electrical systems.

 What we’re looking for:

• Current Australian Drivers Licence

• HR license

• Machine Tickets - Excavator, Skidsteer and Backhoe/Loader (or equivalent vac truck qualification)

• Ability to perform detailed excavations, service trenching and working around existing service

• Construction Induction (White Card)

• Ability to pass a police clearance as well as drug and alcohol testing

• A strong work ethic and effective communication skills
